A brief page citing some evidence that dominoes may have been known in England as early as the time of Henry VIII. (But see notes below.)

Further research by John Jordan indicates that the Henry VIII reference is incorrect -- looking at the records of the privy purse, his best guess is that this was someone's misinterpretation of a reference to "Domingo". So we may be down to just the Mary Rose example.
