The Quest
One of the only games that does not involve blotting.
Equipment: A Tables set with 2 dice
Direction of Play: Same as opponent.
Setup: One player places 14 men on the common 1 point, and 1 on the 24 point. The other puts 2 men on the 6 point, 3 men each on the 2, 3, 4, and 5 points, and one on the 13 point.
Play: As in
Common Tables Concepts, but there is no blotting at all. This implies that you can not jump onto any enemy-occupied space, even if it only contains a single enemy man. Thus, this is essentially a pure race game, without capture. Any time that a player can not use a die roll (much more common than normal in this game), the opponent may use it instead.
