Common Puff
One of several games that start out by randomly entering your men.
Equipment: A Tables set with 3 dice
Direction of Play: Mirror-imaged from opponent.
Setup: Begin with all men off the board. Take turns rolling the dice, and entering your men on the spaces indicated by the dice on the board. (That is, a 4 on a die means to enter one man on your 4 point.)
Play: Conventional, but it is explicit that you must use all of the dice that you can. If you can not use a particular die roll, you skip only that roll. This may imply that, in this period, dice rolls were normally all-or-nothing.
